The Ghost in the Machine


The exhibition draws upon on recent historical references building an installation of sound that taps into deep-seated insecurities and contemporary political neuroses. Its title references the book by Arthur Koestler published in 1967 concerning humanity's tendency towards self-destruction; the duel between reason and imagination which in turn, leads to paranoia. A paranoia that climaxed in the nuclear stand-off between global super-powers.
